I just knew the Too Face Melted Matte Liquified Lipsticks would sell out when I saw they were being released. I noticed that there weren’t many really unique colors, so I quickly placed an order for Sell Out and Queen Bee, pretty safe choices… presumably. Today I bring you Sell Out, as it is my favorite of the two. Sell Out is described as a matte soft pinky brown. On me, I think the brown is really subtle and the pink pushes through more. The color reminds me a lot of Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare. Also reminds me of ColourPop Bumble (which I haven’t reviewed).

These are in fact long-wearing and long-lasting, and so comfortable on the lips. While this has a thinner consistency, the scent and the comfort remind me of Stila Stay All Day Liquid lipsticks, which happen to be the most comfortable liquid lipsticks on the planet, in my opinion. While it goes on fairly opaque, I did need to dip the wand in the bottle twice to get the desired coverage for all this lip I have. While we’re on the subject, I love the shape of the bottle (seen here)!

I do find that Sell Out transfers slightly. It lasted on me for 6 hours before fading at the inner lips after eating and drinking. Applying right over the old is feasible. If I had to, I would give these and 8/10 for comfort alone. I hope they release more (better) colors because the formula is pretty impressive. While these are pretty much sold out now, I heard it through the grapevine that these would be back in stock the beginning of April.
