I’ve found it. The perfect nude lip. Yes, I said it; perfect.
For someone my skin tone, of course. All nude lips are not made equal. For me, they usually have to be a pinkish nude to work, but this here just blends right in to the rest of my skin without looking brown.
My gosh… all hail MAKE UP FOR EVER! They do so many things right for ladies of color.

In case you weren’t aware, I am a huge fan of liquid lipsticks because they are so low maintenance (when they’re good). I have another color in Aqua Rouge and had plenty confidence this one would perform.

The lipstick stayed on my lips all day through Kentucky Derby and boxing shenanigans — I never had to reapply. I used two coats for the desired coloration and did not use the topcoat (I don’t usually) as this dries down matte. I don’t find it drying at all, although I use lip balm before I apply this and I highly recommend you do as well. What do you guys think? I think I hit the jackpot!
