I was totally out of my element. Contouring AND a bun?! I have to admit, contouring makes your photos look amazing…
Now contouring has been going on for a long while and this kit has been around for years. Nonetheless, I was pleasantly surprised to find this Sleek Makeup Face Contour Kit was a good match for my skin tone and extremely affordable ($9.99). Application was easy as pie and the highlighter is absolutely gorgeous — one of the best I have seen! I think it helps that I have a “natural contour” anyway so it was easy to fill in with the powder. Speaking of which, I must say I prefer using powder to contour than cream. In my opinion, it just blends more easily with the rest of my makeup.
One thing to note, is that the pressed powder does fade throughout the day, especially if you’re touching your face. This lasted about 8 hours on me and when I got to a mirror, I noticed the contour had faded to almost nothing. The highlighter was alive and kicking though! You would definitely need to touch this up during the day to make it last.
