Good morning to ya! I just wanted to let you all know how Rimmel Provocalips in Heart Breaker performed. After practicing with Make Your Move, Heart Breaker seemed easier to apply.
Just to refresh the memory, Provocalips 16HR KissProof Lip Color:
Up to 16 Hours of lip liberation. Wild without a trace!
•Kiss proof, transfer proof, food proof high impact endless colour.
•No tight feeling or dry lips. Lips feel smooth and moisturized all day long.
•Easy removal with Oil based makeup remover
STEP 1: Apply colour and keep lips apart for 60 seconds until the product sets.
STEP 2: Apply topcoat to lock the colour, moisture and add shine.
So it does actually transfer, so after eating, you’ll have to remove it (or most of it) and reapply. The second point about moisturizing, this is achieved when you use the topcoat. I highly recommend using the topcoat. It’s not really a gloss, so it doesn’t make your lips very shiny, which I actually like. I have used the balm on top of some of my other more drying liquid lipsticks and it really does feel quite comfortable.

At first I thought the 16-hour claim was reaching, but it may be quite accurate, as long as you don’t eat for those 16 hours lol. I fell asleep in my makeup (bad) and there was still a good amount of product on my lips, but it was very crusty looking. This is long-wear but not as if it still looks perfect on your lips after 8 hours; more like there will still be traces of color on your lips but you need to touch it up.
I also want to mention NOT to press your lips together. It’s almost a habit for me to do that but you really don’t want to do that with these, as they will make the product peel up and you’ll have to start all over! These are cool but I think I am ok with not having any more of these in my collection. I really like the colors I have chosen as they are suitable for everyday wear.
