On to the next. How many times have I said that in life? Many. But when it comes to the Essie Expressie Quick Dry Nail Polish in the shade On to the Next, it’s here to stay.
I’ve had this nail polish for many seasons. It was an on-the-whim purchase after another of my polishes chipping and feeling fickle about the other neutrals in my stash. I went over to the CVS and found On to the Next. One coat is nearly opaque and two coats in completely opaque. It is a bit streaky, which is a little unusual with Essie nail polishes, so I have to use a steady hand. It’s the first I’ve used in the Expressie range, so I wonder if it’s something common with the quick dry’s.
It’s a nice neutral nail polish Essie describes as a baby pink, which is accurate, but on me it comes off as more of a pale baby pink. It last just as long as an at-home manicure for me, which chipping occurring around the third day. On to the Next can be found at Essie and the CVS website.
