I went to Sephora for no good reason and saw that they had the new Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow ($24.00). I turned my nose up at them at first thinking they couldn’t possibly be wearable, but I was wrong! I have a photo is Sephora light (the top photo), and a photo in artificial light at my house (bottom photo). I think the video does the colors the most justice, though.
Top Row (left to right): Kitten Karma, Molten Midnight, Diamond Dust, Smoldering Satin
Bottom Row (left to right): Smoky Storm, Violet Vixen, Golden Goddess, Rose Gold Retro
The colors that stood out to me are Violet Vixen and Rose Gold Retro, although the latter might be harder to wear. Smoldering Satin seems to be the most everyday wearable in my opinion. After having these on my hand for over 2 hours, when I swipe my fingers across the colors, the only colors that transfer noticeably are Violet Vixen and Molten Midnight; coincidentally the darkest of the colors.
Diamond Dust appears to have the chunkiest glitters and Golden Goddess swatched the thinnest and patchiest. I suspect that color would be good layered over shadows rather than worn on its own. Molten Midnight could be darker for my liking.
