New Handbag Staple: Fresh Sugar Lemon Hydrating Lip Balm

Look who’s arriving fashionably late to the party! 👀 I bought the Fresh Sugar Lemon Hydrating Lip Balm on a whim many moons ago after seeing it randomly on some department store’s app. I figured, I bet this smells like lemon meringue pie… I want my lips to smell like lemon meringue pie! And guess what? It does!

My skin type

My lips are naturally pretty dry although they are cracking less than they usually do these days.

What it’s supposed to do

From the brand: A cushiony, lemon-flavored lip balm that delivers nonstop 24-hour moisture and a smooth natural shine.

How I use it

On its own and underneath lipsticks. I just swirl my finger around in the jar a few times and apply directly to my lips.

How long I used it

I’ve been using this multiple times per week, per day for about two months (and have already hit pan on it).

What I like about it

• I love, love, love the scent. It translates very well from jar to lips.
• It’s not sticky.
• It makes me feel like I have totally smooth, kissable lips.
• It either prevents or corrects dry, peeling lips.
• The balm has a hint of shine to it so even if you’re not wearing lip products, it still looks like you’re wearing something.

What could be better

It doesn’t actually last very long; maybe about three hours before I feel the need to reapply. However, it is hydrating while it is on my lips.
