I recently came back from a solo birthday trip to London. It was my first time there, and actually in England, period.
Shopping in London is magnificent. I mean out of this world amazing! But expensive… one sterling pound, or quid as they like to call it, was $1.77! I pretty much had to think of it like twice as much. C’mon USD, get your weight up!
I managed to get myself to Selfridges, which was walking distance from the hotel I stayed in. Total makeup porn. I didn’t spend much time in there because I felt under the weather and my nose, being extra sensitive, could not take the perfumey smell! I stopped by the Charlotte Tilbury, Suqqu, and Illamasqua counters and made my exit. The window displays are a sight to see as well.
I ended up in Superdrug and Boots and picked up a few things there. I’d say these are the equivalent of Walgreens or CVS.

As excited as I was to see all of the English beauty brands that are hard to find here in the states, my favorite part of the trip was seeing Bath! Talk about beautiful!
