I have been really into blue eyeliner and shadows lately. For some reason, I am under the impression that I don’t have enough (hehe). I have also been really into long-lasting makeup that doesn’t move for the whole day since… well, forever! After lusting after Lancome’s French Riviera Summer Collection, YSL and Dior blue shadow sticks, I had an epiphany: I forgot about the Make Up For Ever Aqua Matics ($22.00) that were re-released! Make Up For Ever is my favorite makeup brand and I ended up settling on the Aqua Matic Waterproof Eye Pencil.
Initially, I wanted the Electric Blue, but after swatching, I got to thinking… if I could find a neutral color, these would be great for work.

So these were very attractive to me because they are described as waterproof, long-lasting, and very pigmented with no creasing or transfer on the upper eye. Now, I have extremely oily skin so I have yet to find a cream-based anything that lasts on me. Currently, the only liner I own that doesn’t transfer to my upper lid is Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Liner. The whole waterproof thing is extremely accurate. I did some vigorous rubbing underneath running water and these did not budge… I mean I had no mercy! I ended up removing it with Lancome’s Bifacil and I still had to scrub a bit.

I ended up settling on ME-50, Metallic Golden Taupe and I can’t wait to try it out. I have a feeling this will work well as a base as well. I only wish there were more colors!
