Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Pencil Golden Arrow

You would think, that with a name like Lipstick Queen that I would be all over this brand. I don’t know what took me so long to try anything from the brand. Needless to say, I have had the Lipstick Queen Cupid’s Bow Pencil ($22.00) since last year, and just looking at the pictures makes me want to wear it more often.

My skin type

My lips are naturally dry and prone to peeling. This lip pencil is does not emphasize that and is slightly moisturizing.

How I use it

I use two or three layers to get full coverage. The pencil is extremely easy to use and has a satin finish.

What I like about it

I love the color and I love that it’s lightly moisturizing. There are so few lipsticks that actually feel moisturizing on my lips by themselves. I also kind of dig that it’s a pencil. I feel like I could get a lot more product out of it because of that.

What could be better

No complaints about the product! I find that the brand itself is pretty obscure and low key. As a lipstick lover, I would love to see a lot more releases from the brand.

Joy Factor

On a scale of 1-10, this lip pencil is a 6. I don’t reach for it a lot but once I have it on I often wonder why!
