The IPKN Calendula Massage Cleansing Cream is a product I wanted to love so bad, but just couldn’t. I got this in a Hautelook flash sale long ago, along with a gel eyeliner from the brand, and was attracted to the claims it made and all of the natural ingredients. Just look at that: celery, broccoli, carrot, tomato… all the things I should eat but never do. So I thought, hey, why not slather it all over my face? And to my surprise, there are bits of the vegetables in the cream!

Just look at those ingredients…
So why didn’t I fall in love? Well, because it didn’t live up to its claims.
Calendula cleansing cream with cushion cream formula infused with real calendula petals. It delivers rich massaging effects that completely removes heavy makeup and impurities deep within the pores.
I would describe this cleanser as one of those old school cold creams. I often wear heavy makeup and this could not remove it (not even close). I tried using it by dampening my face first, and like a cleansing oil on a dry face and still this barely even removed my foundation. To use this up, I often double cleanse with it using a light cleansing oil and then going over my face with this. Lately, it has found a permanent home underneath my sink. I try to take something positive away from every meh product I review. I would say, with this cleansing cream, if you don’t wear makeup, or don’t plan to use it to remove makeup, you might like this as a cleanser. It might work well as a first-thing-in-the-morning cleanser too. Needless to say, I would not repurchase this.
