So I know I am super late here to jump on the 24/7 bandwagon, but this eyeliner is amazing! I think it actually rivals my Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner! So I have been really wanting to have a purple eyeliner for some reason. I am a little bit bored with the classic black eyeliner that I usually do. I saw that the Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Retrograde was on sale at Sephora for $10 and jumped right on it. It’s just as I imaged not to mention this… stuff… doesn’t… budge! |

From the brand:
Draw liquid lines so sharp they could cut glass. Our slender brush lays down long-lasting matte, slick and shimmery shades sure to satisfy your color lust. Achieve clean, sharp WATERPROOF lines with shocking ease. The newest addition to our 24/7 franchise is available in a veritable rainbow of long-lasting, highly-pigmented, WATERPROOF color options – shades ranging from matte to glossy to shimmery! (And why would you only buy one? Try them all!) Use the ultra-fine brush tip to create lines that are razor-thin or thick, even and bold. The brush is also short and easy to control, making it ideal for liquid liner newbies. The slim pens are convenient – go ahead and pack ’em all into your makeup bag – and are color-matched to each shade.
When I opened the liner and saw what kind of brush I was working with, I did make a face. For some reason, I thought this was a pen liner and it is not. But I actually love how thin the brush is because you can make your line super thin, or layer it up for thicker lines. I am not a huge fan or sparkly stuff, but I do love the glitter in this eyeliner. It really draws attention to the eyes.
Look at my oily lids! |
Sorry for the bug-eyed close up; I wanted to show this at its best angle |
I wasn’t upset here. Just came from yoga! |
Let’s talk about staying power. I have extremely oily lids. For most eyeliners, the struggle is real at the end of the day for me because it will have gotten to the point where the eyeliner is seeping into my lids. This stuff stayed just as long as just as strong as my Aqua Liner, and it did not seep into my eyes. By all day, I mean when I apply it in the morning, until after yoga and into the night, right before I wash my face. It is removed quite easily with makeup remover. I am a huge fan and my taste for colored eyeliner has certainly been satisfied. I’m quite curious about the other colors actually.
It’s still available at Sephora and urbandecay.com for $10 along with other colors that are finding their way into my cart!
