Fiona Stiles Radiant Aqua Eye Veil Reviews: Arrow, Baltic

Remember that post from five months ago about the Fiona Stiles Cream Shadows? Well, I’m just getting around to posting a full review on it for some reason. I know; shameful. It’s not because I’m that lazy, but just because so many shiny new things have held my attention.

The thing that attracted me to these shadows was that they reminded me of the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise. I was more curious about Baltic because of the pretty purple color and I don’t own many purple shadows. They were also more affordable than the Charlotte Tilbury (CT) shadows, so I wanted to see if these were possible dupes.

The two colors, in the end, behaved differently on my oily lids. I used primer with both colors and as beautiful as Baltic is, I experienced creasing soon after applying. I didn’t have that problem with Arrow. As far as these being dupes for CT Eyes to Mesmerise, I would say they are not. I would rather spend the extra money and here is why: The CT shadow lasts a lot longer than these (which I don’t think I have mentioned before, actually). I can wear the CT shadow all day long without any problems as they dry down pretty quickly and don’t budge. These Fiona Stiles shadows are pretty powerful as well, but the creasing of Baltic was kind of a deal-breaker for me as far as whether or not I would rebuy these. Arrow is the better performing shadow but not competitive with CT Mona Lisa. Have a look at some pictures.

They sure are purty. But I think I’m good with the two I have.
