For someone that generally never used to be a huge fan of lip gloss, I sure do find myself using them a lot lately. One of my most recently acquired lip glosses is ColourPop Master Plan ($6.00) from their Ultra Glossy collection. So the words “ultra glossy” had me quite hesitant but the swatch on the model didn’t look as glossy as I thought it might and was pretty pigmented so I decided to give it a try. It’s described as a mid-tone dusty plum and looks that way on me.
I’m really impressed with the formula of this gloss as it’s only slightly sticky; just sticky enough to recognize that you are wearing a layer of gloss on your lips. It’s super moisturizing; I don’t need to use lip balm before using this, and it’s really quite pigmented for a lip gloss.
These are different from the Ultra Satin Lips line in that it’s a true lip gloss that goes on semi-sheer while the Ultra Satins go on fully opaque. I usually use two layers of this and it never becomes fully opaque. It doesn’t smell or taste like anything and never gets on my teeth.
I love this line of glosses and I recommend them. I’m glad I bit the bullet and started wearing glosses again and am looking forward to experimenting with more colors in the line.

I've been on the hunt for a purple lippy that doesn't make me look like a clown. May need to cop this.
