The thing I like most about ColourPop is that they show that you don’t need to charge a ton of money for good, quality products. No brand is perfect, and I have certainly had some not-so-perfect run-ins with some of their Lippie Stix, but I have had way more good experiences with the brand than bad. Lately, I notice that a lot of my posts are about ColourPop… and I don’t see that changing any time soon, as they seem to come out with something new almost monthly. I’m trying to cut back on my impulsive buys and spend more time testing products for more accurate reviews, which brings me to the ColourPop Creme Gel Liners ($5.00). I purchased three of these a while back: Piggy Bank, No Shame, and Swerve. All are creamy, long-lasting, and very pigmented.
No Shame: blackened violet
Piggy Bank: red violet
Swerve: true onyx black
They come as a pencil that you twist up and down to release product. I mentioned before that these are creamy; I have broken the edge of the Swerve liner (not pictured) a couple of times, so be careful that you don’t wind it up too much.
I highly recommend these high quality, low-priced liners. They just glide along the eye effortlessly. These are very different from the ColourPop Gel Creme Colors (reviewed here). These are more of a traditional eyeliner that’s more flexible while the Gel Creme Colours dry down quite fast and last much longer than the Liners.
P.S. I frequently post looks I have created on my Instagram. Follow me there if you don’t already; I am wearing Swerve in my last post!
