I probably treat myself to spontaneous lipstick purchases more than I should. The Dior Rouge Couture Lipstick ($35.00) was definitely one of those purchases. After much thought, I settled on Chocolate Matte.

My skin type
My lips are naturally dry. I tried this lipstick with and without lip balm and it was fine. It’s neither drying nor moisturizing on its own, but sits on my lips comfortably.
How I use it
As this is a traditional tube of lipstick, I apply it straight from the tube to my lips. It has a slight rosy smell to it, which doesn’t bother me as it isn’t overwhelming. The lipstick lasts on me throughout the day and doesn’t move around until eating time.
What I like about it
The color, the formula, an the packaging. This lipstick ticks all the lipstick boxes for me.
What could be better
Not a thing! I would definitely buy more shades of this lipstick, and there are plenty to choose from.
Joy Factor
On a scale of 1-10, this lipstick is a 10!
