I was quite hesitant about getting the CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops ($42.00) after my fiasco with their Custom Cover Drops. After the first time I used the enhancer drops, I was hooked.
I have had the Enhancer Drops for quite some time, but because they are so versatile, I wanted to be able to use them with a light and heavy hand and evaluate from there. I love using them with both and am even going to make a cushion for them since they are so incredibly concentrated.
There is a bit of a learning curve with these, in my opinion. Even one drop is too much for me to use on both cheeks. Recently, I purchased a CosmoCube Mixing Palette. I use it for everything, and it’s perfect for these drops. I squeeze a bit of foundation on the mixing palette first and apply to my face. Then, I put a half drop of the Enhancer Drops on top of the leftover foundation, dab my brush in it five or six times and then apply to the places I want highlighted. I do feel like it takes a bit of effort to get this to blend and look evenly placed, but patience pays off with these drops. I particularly love the way it looks when using a beauty blender.
I ended up with the shade Candlelight, but I also swatched Sunlight and Celestial.

I imagine that these drops will last me until the end of time. Well, I’ll just say years, for now. Stay tuned for the cushion!
