Pacifica is a brand I was unfamiliar with until their Milk to Foam Face Wash strutted its way into my life. I was instantly curious about the milk to foam claim and wondered if that was truly a thing. I can report that, yes, it is truly a thing and it gives me so much pleasure to use, I’ll be delving deeper into the brand as soon as I can!
My skin type
Oily. I generally wear a full face of makeup during the work week.
What it’s supposed to do
From the brand: This innovative, sulfate-free milk to foam wash gets perfectly bubbly to help lift dirt and debris to the surface. Fortified with cactus oil, vitamin E and coconut. This is a go-to in your skin’s age fighting arsenal. Plus, it smells amazing. For all skin types.
Ingredients
Water, Myristic Acid, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Potassium Hydroxide, Palmitic Acid, Glycerin, Glycol Distearate, Cocoyl Methyl Glucamide, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Benzyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Sodium Phytate, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Seed Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tocopherol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol.
How I use it
This is a second cleanser for me. I’ll use an oil cleanser or a cleansing balm to remove my makeup, and follow up with this cleanser. All you need is a pea sized squirt and that still feels like too much once it’s on my face. I’ll gently rub it all over my face and at this point it’s pretty thick and foamy. I’ll wet my hands to remove some of the foam and rub all over my face again creating more suds. It washes off clean and smells like delicious grapefruit! High joy factor here!
How long I used it
I have been using this since last year sometime. Because I hoard products and love trying cleansers, it’s been lasting me quite a while. Plus, a little bit goes a long way, so there’s that.
What I like about it
I love the smell, I love that it washes clean without stripping my skin, and the milk-to-foam thing is unique for me. In addition, I’ve not experienced breakout or any adverse reactions. This is a legit second cleanser and definitely worth a try. What’s better is that it retails for ~$10.00!
What could be better
No complaints about this cleanser. The packaging is aesthetically pleasing, it comes out of the tube quite easy, is cheap, and effective! What more could you want?!
