I bought the Sunday Riley Sunday School Skincare Kit when it first came to Sephora, during the VIB sale. I was very excited to try this combination of items, plus I had been eyeing the cleansing oil and moisturizer in the CEO line.
My skin type
Oily af, annoying hyperpigmentation on cheeks and chin due to monthly hormonal acne; enlarged, damaged pores on cheeks.

How I use it
Step 1: CEO Cleansing Oil (basic cleansing oil used on dry skin to remove makeup)
Step 2: Good Genes (this sample has strange clumps in it I didn’t notice before, as if there is pilling going on, or the formula has thickened. I remember this being thinner the first time I used it.)
Step 3: Luna Sleeping Night Oil (this is a pretty light oil that absorbs effortlessly into the skin. I was confused as to why the directions instructed to use this oil after Good Genes but it works perfectly. The smell is interesting…)
Step 4: CEO Moisturizer (a rich, orange creamsicle looking moisturizer that has a pleasant smell — it doesn’t reek of oranges. Contains a form of vitamin c)
How long I used it
Basically until the CEO moisturizer ran out. I’ve got about two uses of the Luna Oil left, nearly all of the cleansing oil left, as well as Good Genes.
What I like about it
They don’t call Good Genes and the Luna Sleeping Oil Power Couple for no reason. This is a great combination and the two of these have been on my list for the longest time. I have used good genes on its own before and I love how radiant it and the Luna Oil make my skin look. Following up with the CEO moisturizer is heaven! Highly recommend this combination!
What could be better
The only thing I hated in this set was the cleansing oil. While it removes my makeup, it burns the crap out of my eyes. So I can’t use this to remove eye makeup at all – total buzzkill. Keep away from the eyes!
I also wasn’t very pleased with the price. The samples you get are so tiny; basically like deluxe samples you get free with a $35 purchase or maybe a 250 point reward at Sephora. I think this should have been $15 cheaper.
Joy Factor
On a scale of 1-10, this set as a whole is a 7, definitely due to the cleansing oil, which on it’s own is a 0. Good Genes, Luna Oil, and the CEO moisturizer is a 10 on the joy scale!
