Today, I’m showing off the Mac x Taraji P. Henson Viva Glam lipstick and lip glass, as well as the highly coveted and sold out Highlight Your Life highlighter and Taraji Glow Mineralized Skinfinish Blush.
Listen, I know this is hella late and a lot of people no longer have access to the two face products, however, I’m going to post about it anyway because I use it often and also because I still see people searching for it in my blog stats, and also it’s the best collection for women of color that I have ever bought and I hope Mac brings it back! If you recall, Mac actually had to manufacture a second batch because they sent out the wrong items in error – you can read all about that here).

Oily, acne scars on cheeks and chin but getting better.
What I like about it
The two cheek products, Taraji Glow and Highlight Your Life are in constant heavy rotation. I use these babies at least once a week. Taraji Glow glides effeortlessly onto my skin, is very pigmented, and I only need two swipes to get the desired color payoff. It looks so natural on my dark skin tone. Highlight Your Life compliments Taraji Glow so well. I wasn’t expecting to even purchase Highlight Your Life, but that manufacturing error paid off!
I unexpectedly loved the Viva Glam Lipstick way more than I thought I would; I get tropical vibes when I wear it.
What could be better
The lip glass could be more opaque. I find that I only like the way it looks on me when I put it over the lipstick.
Joy Factor
On a scale of 1-10, this collection is a 10! I don’t often use the lip glass but the rest of the collection totally compensates.
