Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Birthday Boy was an anniversary release, and was provided free with a purchase. It’s a gray-silver sparkly shadow, with somewhat of a brown base. Part of my purchase was ColourPop Ultra Matte Chilly Chili ($6.00), which has become a lippie that I reach for constantly.
Before I decided on Chilly Chili, I had seen so many swatches, but none of them look like what it actually looks like on me. On my dark skin, it acts more as a nude color for me. It’s described as a muted plummy brown, but on me it’s more of a pinkish brown. I happen to be obsessed with it at the moment!
I used Birthday Boy all over my lid and softened it with a brown shadow. I lined my lids with MyIpkn Gel Stealer Pen Liner and applied some falsies. Brows are Billion Dollar Brows, Brows on Point.
I used lip balm before using Chilly Chili to help my lips stay lubricated throughout that day. Chilly Chili stays on my lips all day through eating and drinking, and I am happy to report that Birthday Boy lasted 8 hours before creasing slightly, with no primer. I do love that the shadow is buildable and if you want to go all out disco ball, you certainly can. I was on my way to work, so that was not an option for me lol. I opted for a sheered out layer.
While you can’t purchase Birthday Boy, as it was a limited edition release, you can get your hands on Chilly Chili. This will definitely be a rebuy for me!
Sidenote: Billion Dollar Brows is having a great sale: 40% off all products through July 4th (tomorrow!). I repurchased the Micro Brow Pencil (great for sparse brows like mine) and auto-renewed for an additional 25% off! My total came to a whopping $7.00 before the 2.95 shipping charge! Love it when I get great deals!
