ColourPop Swerve and Workout Creme Gel Colours

ColourPop’s Creme Gel Color in Swerve is the darkest, blackest eyeliner — quite possibly — that I have ever used. I just had to make that the first thing I wrote, because pigmentation is the primary thing I look for in eyeliners. In addition to Swerve, I also picked up Workout, a blackened forest green.

MORE FROM COLOURPOP

The other thing I look for in eyeliners is wear time. I have oily lids so I need something that will stay put. One of the main reasons I decided to check out these liners is because I had read that they stay put. While that is true, my oily lids really fight to break down this liner. It dries down after about three minutes and I find that by the end of the day, Swerve had faded a bit near the inside corners of my lids. However, I fell alseep in the eyeliner and when I woke up, most of it was still there, sooooooo overall this is a good eyeliner. And at $6.00 it really can’t be beat. I haven’t had a chance to test out Workout just yet but hopefully it performs just as well if not better.

I have used Swerve for a cat eye (seen here, here, and here) and also to tightline (seen here) with, which it is perfect for. The liner also applies smoothly and evenly.

Another win for ColourPop in my book.
