Dior has recently released an entire new line of Dior Addict Lipsticks for fall. Unfortunately, they haven’t made it into my Sephora yet. That didn’t stop me from seeing what all the fuss was about, assuming the formula will be the same with the new line!

Dior ushers in a new era in lip makeup with the breakthrough creation of a lipstick that boasts a hydra-gel core with a top coat effect for sensational mirror shine. Concentrated in the shape of a CD at the center, the ultra-moisturizing soft core runs the full length of the stick. Application after application, it works like a top coat, adding an extra dose of shine and lasting colour with unbelievable comfort.
At first swatch, I wasn’t surprised to see it go on sheer since it is described as semi-sheer. I initially spied these on Sephora’s website and when I went to look for them in the store I thought I actually had the wrong product because in-store they are $33.00 vs. $35.00. So I am assuming once the new line is released in store, they will be $2.00 more.
My eyes veered towards Dior Kiss (578), a lovely pink, Miami, a bronzey orangeish-brown (and my adopted hometown), and Fashion Week (881), a berry-toned color.

Here’s a lip swatch of Dior Kiss (578):
My wallet’s telling me no… but my lips are telling me yes. Ultra moisturizing is 100% accurate. I felt some kind of way about how sheer it shows up on me… and I piled it on. But I actually secretly like the girly, dainty way it makes me feel!
One other drawback for me other that the price, was I noticed that the color settled into my unexfoliated lips. It isn’t apparent in the photo but I noticed that right away.
The packaging is really beautiful as well… As you can tell, I am having a hard time with this one. I really, really like these lipsticks and am really thinking along the lines of, “I never run out of lipstick anyway so I might as well just get it…“

Thanks for the swatches. I have Diorkiss from the original Dior Addict line and love it. I actually still have it after all these years (3? 4? years). Smooth, moist and a pretty professional pink. Feminine but not immature. <333 Curious to see what it's like with the revamped formula. -Angela

Very professional. Very feminine. Seriously thinking about one for myself…!
