I never thought I would ever run out of nail polish… and I haven’t. But this here!! I have found my new nail polish love. It’s called Greyfitti and it’s by Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel Line. I absolutely love it!

Let’s talk about longevity. This nail polish job will not last me ten days– that’s how long a gel manicure normally lasts me before my nails start growing out and it’s time to get them redone. This lasts me a good 4-5 days before I am compelled to remove it because of chipping. A normal nail polish job lasts me 2 days tops before chipping.
This polish does something different (I purchased this brand in a nice party red color as well and it performed the same way). When it wants to chip, it starts climbing down the nail from the tip to the nail bed. I never let it get that out of control but I just wanted to point out that it doesn’t chip like regular nail polish. The top coat… I think it can be bypassed if you’re buying a shade in the color range. It didn’t seem to make the polish last any longer. I will continue to use it but the nail is shiny and I get the same results without it. However, the top coat works marvelously with regular nail polishes which only last a few days on me before chipping! I’m able to get three more days out of a regular nail polish by using this as a top coat.
It can be removed with acetone (that’s all I use to remove nail polish) but you really have to get it all off because it leaves a stain. So I suggest taking off the polish and then go over it again with acetone. I love this polish and will continue to reach for it well into spring.
