The Lanolips Tinted Lip Balms ($13.50) first came to my attention via Instagram, where I noticed one of my favorite makeup artists, Ania Milczarczyk, using it all the time. There really didn’t seem to be anything overly special about them, but I love the natural looks she creates and she basically convinced me that I needed these. I settled on Perfect Nude and Rhubarb.

What it’s supposed to do
From the brand: Creates soft, hydrated & pretty lips. Superb lanolin-rich lip conditioner + sheer pretty colour tint. Enhances your natural lip colour.

How I use it
I reach for this lip conditioner often. I use it by itself mostly, but sometimes I dab some lip tint in the middle of my lips. In the photo above, I used the Nature Republic lip tint in Red. I absolutely love wearing it with this lip tint in the middle.
What I like about it
It does exactly what it says, so kudos for that! I think the description lip conditioner, is an accurate description of the product. Upon application, I can feel how moisturizing it is. However, I think it goes a step further. The lip tints don’t last all day and I do find that I need to reapply towards the end of the day, however, my lips do not feel dry during this time! I reapply because the product has vanished a bit, but my lips still feel pretty moisturized. The lip tint isn’t sticky at application, but by reapplication, I do feel it a bit sticky. For that reason, I remove completely before I reapply.
What could be better
The two shades look very similar on me. I also think it’s a tad bit pricey for what it is.
Joy Factor
I basically just want to walk around kissing people when I wear this lip tint. (Also, I’ve always been Team Stefan!)
